The D.C. servomotors (ISM series) and the general purpose motors (407 series), with permanent magnet excitation, are the industrial evolution of a "custom" product manufactured in more than 9 million units; they are, therefore, an economic, rational and reliable solution to all the variabile speed, fractional horsepower applications.

These products are available in two sizes (1 and 2 Nm rated torque) for each series, with a wide range of windings for supply voltage ranging from 12 to 200 Vdc; they are particularly suitable to operate controlled by electronic modules, in a wide speed range on constant torque mode. Other important technical features are very low torque ripple, high value of demagnetizing current, high efficiency and very low noise. Examples of applications are:
